K9 Dog Shampoo Bar - Unscented

Despite our best efforts, somehow our furry friends are always getting into mischief. 

Our K9 shampoo is pH balanced, alcohol free, paraben free, palm oil free and is highly recommended for cleaning & moisturizing dog coats. Our blend of plant oils alleviates dry skin and comforts minor skin irritations. This bar is unscented and keeps your pet looking and smelling clean. We should know, we tested it on ourselves first! 

Feel secure in knowing that we are a vegan and cruelty free company that has fur babies of our own! This is the only shampoo we have found safe and effective for our family dog Luna – a Belgian Malinois (a breed known for having sensitive skin). We formulated this shampoo when we couldn’t find an eco-friendly, vegan, and cruelty free alternative that worked for her needs.

Directions:

Rinse your dog until they are thoroughly wet. Lather the soap into your dog’s fur and let sit for 5-10 minutes - if you can! Do not wash your pet’s face or get into their eyes, it’s still soap and can sting. Rinse well.

If you prefer a liquid soap, grate the bar into a quart mason jar and fill with warm water. Gently shake the jar every day for a week until liquid.

Is this soap safe for my dog?

Yes. This K9 shampoo bar is unscented specifically for the sensitivity of animals. We have formulated the K9 shampoo bar to contain the best ingredients to ensure the health and safety of animals. However, if you have further concerns, we suggest speaking with a veterinarian. 

This product was formulated for all dogs; however, since each individual animal will have different levels of sensitivity, we suggest testing the shampoo on a small area before wide-spread application. Please be cautious with any products on animals less than 12 weeks of age. Every animal is different, so carefully observe how your dog responds to the shampoo bar. Consult your veterinarian if any irritation occurs. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. For topical use only.

100% Cruelty Free: We are PETA Certified Vegan & Cruelty free. We do not, nor do any of our ingredient suppliers, test on animals. I used this soap on myself before I ever tried it on my dog, a 65 lb Belgian Malinois with sensitive skin. 

What are the benefits to using a shampoo bar versus liquid shampoo?

Environment:

No plastic bottles here, our shampoo bars are almost packaging-free and the label is recycleable, which reduces waste. 18 billion pounds of plastic waste enters the world’s ocean annually. This is in part due to the number of products delivered in plastic. It also relates to the amount of water we ship (and the environmental cost of that transportation).

Store the shampoo bar on a self-draining tray, where it can air dry. Doing so will extend its life, saving you money, and reducing your environmental footprint.

Ingredients:

We use only natural ingredients in our shampoo bars, which makes them water-soluble and fully biodegradable. These bars are preservative-free, and don’t release chemicals, detergents, or plastic micro-beads into the environment. Safe for septic tanks, too!
